x 6.86cm).
Capable of writing/running to/from
EEPROMs
100% code compatible with the 8051.

Assembler, Small-C compiler,
uploading and EEPROM programming software included, upon
purchasing any of our boards. All software features can
be managed from within a single software program.
With the software
included, applications can be
easily developed in 3 steps:
1) Edit a program in Assembly or Small-C
2) Assemble or compile the just edited program
3) Send the program's HEX file through the serial port on
to the board's SRAM or EEPROM.
After the last byte is received, the board's monitor
automatically gives control to the just received program.
EEPROM Programming Features:
* Upload and Save a program into EEPROM.
* Upload, Save and Run a program into EEPROM.
* Run a previously Saved program from EEPROM.
As
described above, the board comes with a 32K SRAM for
program upload. Instead of the 32K SRAM, the user has the
option of using 8K or 32K EEPROMs or NVRAMs, either can
be programmed by the board.
The on board 8K EPROM monitor IC can be replaced with a
programmed EEPROM or NVRAM for standalone implementation.
This gives the user the capability of using up to 64K of
memory.
The spare /CE line has been
specially added to allow easy expansion of the P500 I/O
lines. Assuming an 8255 is to be used, it can be easily
wired without any additional interface ICs between the
P500 and the 8255.
The board is designed to easily
allow installation of a 5V Regulator IC. (not included).
